State of the protocol 📰
Bang Bang. The week started off with a bang as @jessica_sit joined Aave (Stani's new recruiting role is paying dividends 💪) and @FireblocksHQ shared a proposal to become whitelisted for Aave Arc. Boardroom provides a concise overview of what Aave Arc is and what it means for Aave. Although the proposal reached crypto media headlines, it drew its share of criticism and sparked some interesting conversations.
Ecosystem 🧉
New guardians are here. The vote to elect new guardians concluded last week. Congrats to @Arthur_0x, @coderdannn, @GallowayGavilan, @isakivlighan, @0xMaki, @hilmarxo, @Melt_Dem, @corbpage, @lmrankhan, and @DennisonBertram. Thank you for stepping up to serve the protocol. This community elected group allows new markets to be deployed securely. After a bootstrapping phase, the community guardians will then release the keys to Aave Governance.
